A new casino license has been approved by the Sioux Falls Planning Commission. The decision has been resented by many top lawmakers and citizen groups. The Sioux Falls network of Deuces and Crown casinos had been demanding a new casino license in the region for long.
Planning Commissioner Nicholas Sershen said that the area where the developers want to build their Casino facility did match the requirements where such an establishment can be expected.
Representing Sioux Falls network of Deuces and Crown casinos, Bryant Soberg had presented a complete business and architectural plan with Commonland II. The businessmen and partner Bryant Soberg and Kirby Muilenburg, have stakes in many different businesses of which the Commonwealth Gaming and Holdings and Crown Gaming Inc. is one of the biggest.
The company already has a license to operate video lotteries in 10 different casinos in Sioux Falls. The two businessmen have many other ties with local casinos and gambling operator companies.
